The Parker Blues Band was formed in spring 1979 after singer-songwriter Mike Parker teamed up with Shediac drummer Frank Hébert after they played together in a fundraiser event. The duo’s instant chemistry led them to form a full blues band. They recruited bassist Leo LeBlanc. On stage, the Parker Blues Band delivers high-energy blues rooted un the traditions of legends like B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton or Colin James, while reinventing classic rock’n’roll and blues songs. Their shows feature original material written by guitarist Mike Parker, adding a modern touch to their sound. The band has been actively performing in Southeast New Brunswick.
