For its benefit-show this year, Sylvie DesGroseilliers will be the Edmundston Jazz & Blues Festival’s guest with her musical revue ”Women of Soul”. A very well known francophone artist, she was a chorist alongside multiple artists through the years. She recorded three albums and a fourth one is on its way. The show is a tribute to the inspiring women of soul, gospel and pop who’ve left their mark in the musical world such as Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Whithey Houston or Tina Turner.
